Easter Service

The Spring Term concluded with the Easter Service in church and a wonderful Easter Tea provided by the Friends of Fordham.

Easter Prayers

To highlight Christianity as a global religion, each class studied the photograph and discussed questions posed. Most children were surprised to learn that the women in the picture were Christians, praying during Holy Week, in New Delhi. In Classes 2 and 3 the children then wrote their own prayers.

Carol Service

Wonderful way to finish off the term with a service of readings and carols.

All Saints Day and Year 6 Bibles

On Tuesday, in celebration of All Saints Day, the children in Key Stage 2 attended a service in the church. Year 6 each received a Bible which they will be able to use in their RE lessons during the year.

We have had a wonderful week learning new songs and dance moves. The songs contained  Christian values including, love, friendship, hope and forgiveness. We rehearsed hard and performed fantastically at the church. The sound was amazing and it was a wonderful sight to see the whole school performing with such enthusiasm and enjoyment.
