Assemblies about Honesty

We have been looking at our value of Honesty this half term and have shared stories about the importance of telling the truth and how people respect those who do so.
AJ from All Saints Church shared with us the story of the little girl from Mexico linked to telling the truth about Jesus and the messages in Genesis 3.

 

NSPCC Assembly- Thinking of others less fortunate

 We welcomed Cathy from the NSPCC to tell the children all about the work of the NSPCC.  We enjoyed the stories with the puppets.  With the help of our School Council we are now working hard to fundraise through 2 projects- a colouring challenge and a fitness workout.
We all want to help the great work of the NSPCC and reflected on our values of Friendship, Respect, Trust, Responsibility and Honesty and where these could help the NSPCC. 

Our total raised was in excess of £1300, an amazing achievement to help those in need!
