Pancake Races come to Fordham

All the children arrived in school with a frying pan and a pancake on the last day of half term to mark Shrove Tuesday.  The children all completed the challenge of running down the track and tossing their pancake 4 times.  We have all been learning in assembly and in class about the significance of Shrove Tuesday, lent and the build up to Easter.  The whole school community came together as Friends of Fordham provided bacon wraps and hot chocolate for the spectators!

Awe and Wonder in Creation Service

On Thursday 12th February we all went to All Saints Church for a service to celebrate all that is wonderful in our World and to celebrate God's creation.  Rev. Parker led the service with children looking through a microscope and finding that 'everything is not as you first see' as they saw more than just water on closer inspection.
